Live like the Kings of Old

When it comes to life in the past, with TV shows and so on, the age of Kings and Castles is perhaps the one we are all most familiar with. You can relive that throughout the UK, especially in Scotland where you can live out your dream of being King of the North and stay at a real-life castle for a few days. Many palaces have now been transformed into hotels, and while you don’t get the full drawbridge and moat experience, you get a luxury stay in a building that is hundreds of years old and has history soaked into the walls. With four-poster beds and suits of armor abound, it’s hard to beat a castle as the place to stay.
