For L.E. Hotels Membership Conference, taking place today through October 23, 2013, we sat down with L.E. Hotels Founder and Chairman Efrem Harkham to converse about the strong value attendees receive from the conference, the scope of the topics and discussions that take place at the conference and the general takeaway that attendees can expect. 1. What is the L.E. Hotels Membership Conference? Who attends the conference?
This is a conference attended by the general managers and owners of L.E. Hotels member properties worldwide. It is an opportunity for learning, discussions, strategizing, networking and a sharing of differing approaches and visions. It is also a time for socializing, reconnecting and team building and an interactive camaraderie. For example, at this year’s conference, themed “The Art of Hospitality,” we will we begin the conference activities by visiting one of the most impressive collections of art — The Getty Museum — high atop a hill overlooking the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel. Wandering through the artistic gardens and structures of The Getty is the perfect way to kick off this conference. We will also be taking all of the conference attendees to see a Los Angeles Kings hockey game, and we’ll make time to visit all three of the Luxe Hotels properties in Los Angeles.

2. Specifically, what can attendees expect as a takeaway from this conference?
Our schedule is packed full of panels covering digital marketing, content marketing, social media, reputation management, maximizing the website hotel booking engine, and meeting and group services. Attendees will gain first-hand insight from entertainment, corporate and leisure travel professionals on how and why they make destination decisions and how hotels can help build client loyalty. We will spend time with each property attending the conference to address their individual needs and invite travel agents to a reception to discuss their expectations of us as well.
